Sponsor a Child
Sponsor a Child Through The:
Palissa Children's Concern Project Uganda
PCCP is a local Ugandan volunteer group that started over 20 years ago with the aim of advocating for disadvantaged children in Uganda. PCCP was built on the desire to intervene in the early lives of underprivileged children, orphans and destitute street kids who are without access to education and often food and shelter.
The goal is to provide the children in the project with quality education allowing for full mental development to give them every opportunity for a bright future. It is our goal that every Ugandan child has a chance of positively contributing to their community.
Hands of Hope Sponsorship
We hope to aid disadvantaged children through being connected to sponsors like you. Your support will give children a chance to escape the poverty that they face and allow them to pursue their dreams.
Sponsoring a child is a personal way to show love & support to a child in need.
For $17/month ($200/year) you can send a vulnerable child to school for a year.
For $33/month ($400/year) you can provide a child with an education and a place to live.
Your support will pay for their full cost of education, scholastic materials, school clothes, and daily meals. Providing education + boarding will offer your child a place to sleep every night.

Numbers that speak
The Palissa Children’s Concern Project has worked to provide a comfortable home where children can learn, develop their passions, and live dignified lives. It is a place of refugee for street kids needing a second chance, orphans without anywhere else to go, and those with financial barriers that would otherwise prevent them from ever seeing a classroom or even getting daily meals.
Education in Uganda
Education for Girls in Uganda
Our mission is to make sure all young girls have equal access to education and have the ability to stay in school.
Girls in Uganda attain less education and drop out earlier compared to boys. They tend to drop out for various reasons, the biggest being early pregnancy and marriage. Around 40% of girls leave school because of marriage and 30% drop out due to pregnancy. Therefore, most of the girls are not able to complete secondary education since they are impregnated when they are between the ages of 18-20 years. Additionally. the level of child marriage in Uganda is even above expectation due to the extremely low levels of income. Girls also often drop out of school because of the long distance and transportation costs, lack of money for food during the school day, and issues arising from puberty, menstruation, and sexual harassment.
